Our Whole Organic Peeled Cacao beans are Criollo Variety (the finest, aromatic and most expensive variety of cacao beans that are grown) and they are certified organically grown in Perú (Ene Valley - Ayacucho - Perú), and are 100% raw, fermented, and sun dried cacao beans. Our Cacao beans are peeled by hand. They are Grade #1, and have been tested and certified and fall within the accepted quality standards for Grade #1 organic raw cacao beans according European Norms.
